Our first stop will be in the municipality of Arucas, in the north of the island, to see one of the most emblematic architectural work of the island, the Neo-Gothic Church of Arucas. Near the church is the Arehucas Rum factory.
If you wish to learn about the history of Rum in the Canary Islands, we offer you a guided tour of the distillery facilities, as well as explaining the process of making rum, the visit will allow you to see one of the oldest rum cellars in Europe (including tastings). The visit to the Rum Factory is optional.
Our next and last stop will be in the town of Teror, a place of pilgrimage for all the people of Gran Canaria. We will walk through the historic center where you will see the typical balconies of Canarian architecture and visit the Basílica de Teror.
